Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregons scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. In many places you鈥檒l find it hard to maintain a healthy work-life/personal-life balance because the pace of one is indistinguishable from the other. Not here. Responsibilities
As a PeriOp Nurse you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient care.
Essential Duties:
- Observe, collect, analyze and record data related to a patient's biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and self care ability.
- Analyzes assessment data to formulate a nursing diagnosis. Measures progress toward attainment of patient outcomes and goals.
- Implements an age appropriate plan of care in conjunction with the physician patient patient's family and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team.
- Administers medication to ensure patient safety.
- Demonstrates principals of care relating to phase 1-3 Recovery.
Shift: 8:30am - 5pm
Core Schedule: Monday - Friday
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
- State of Oregon RN License
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
Experience:
- 1 year RN experience
- Day Surgery experience preferred
Education:
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- BSN preferred
